June 2025 Favorites: What I’m Loving This Month

Somehow, June flew by in a blur of sunshine, humid days, late-night ice cream runs, and a whole lot of living. I’m wrapping up the month the best way I know how by sharing a few things that made life easier, more fun, or just felt right this season. From simple swaps to everyday essentials, these are the products, services, and experiences I’ve truly loved this month and think you might too.

Here’s what’s topping my list for June:

Primally Pure Everything Spray

This is my new obsession for summer skin. After long, hot days outside (or just existing in Midwest humidity), this spray helps minimize inflammation and instantly makes my skin feel cool, refreshed, and calm. It’s the last thing I apply at night before bed and, on no-makeup days, the first thing I reach for in the morning. I’m all about simple skincare that works, and this one is staying in rotation. I absolutely love all Primally Pure products!

Balanced Batch Muffins – New Flavor Alert!

I’ve shared
my love for Balanced Batch before, but the new Tex-Mex flavor is stealing the show. It’s savory, packed with protein, and perfect for busy mom lunches. I love knowing I have healthy, grab-and-go options ready each week, and supporting a local Des Moines woman-owned biz just makes it even better.

Clothing Rental – Nuuly > FashionPass

I’ve been on a mission to simplify my closet and stop buying things I’ll only wear once. FashionPass was okay, but Nuuly has quickly become a favorite. I’ve had so much fun trying new styles without the pressure of committing to a size, especially while I’m in a season of change and weight loss. Renting clothes has helped me feel stylish, creative, and clutter-free.

Marley Spoon Meal Kits (Yes, Even for Picky Eaters!)

I wasn’t sure what to expect with Marley Spoon, but wow, it’s been such a win. I love not having to think up dinner ideas every week, and it’s introduced us to new meals and more veggies in a fun, doable way. My kids are even helping out in the kitchen more. It’s made dinner feel less like a chore and more like something to look forward to.

Cowboy Colostrum in My Morning Coffee

I’m about a month into adding Cowboy Colostrum to my daily coffee, and honestly? I’m loving it. The taste is super mild. Think creamy, not weird. And the benefits are what sold me: immune support, gut health, and added protein to start my day strong. It’s a small step that feels like a big win for my morning routine.

Bonus! Plan a trip to Shores & Islands Ohio

Who knew there were islands in Ohio?! In June, I crossed another state off my bucket list and had the best time exploring the Shores & Islands region along Lake Erie. I joined other travel writers to experience the ferries, lighthouses, beaches, wildlife parks, and all the coastal vibes I didn’t know the Midwest had. If you’re dreaming up a summer road trip, this area is packed with adventure and charm. I wrote a little review over on Des Moines Parent. Start planning!

So that’s my June wrap-up! I’ll be sharing a new favorites list every month, from things that support busy moms and entrepreneurs to simple joys that make life feel a little lighter. If there’s something you’ve been loving lately, hit reply or send me a message. I always love hearing what’s working for you, too. Until next month, keep it simple, stay cool, and say yes to trying new things.
